I had fully intended to make this week's hazelnut praline cookies, but I stopped after sampling the delectable toasted hazelnuts wrapped in a crunchy caramel shell shown in the photo above.  No cookie, no matter how tasty, could taste any better than that.  Sorry folks, maybe next time.
