I'm a happy baker today - look what just arrived. It's an autographed copy of Rose's Heavenly Cakes by Rose Levy Beranbaum. The book was shipped to me and 9 others because we were the first 10 bloggers to sign up for the new baking group called Heavenly Cake Bakers hosted by Marie. Feel free to stop over at Marie's blog and start baking with us! The next selection is Barcelona Brownies - yum, my family can't wait.
The new book will stay safely on my book shelf, unlike the first, which I dropped shortly after purchasing it. Poor thing... I'll have to get it repaired someday.
